History


February, 1969 Founded as wholesaler of packaging materials in Komagata, Taito-ku, Tokyo, with capital of 500,000 yen.
July, 1975 The base was moved to Kawaguchi City, Saitama.
April, 1982 Sales of the trays for optical lenses "Lenspack", trays for electronic parts "Parts tray", and the standard trays "CD series", which require static charge elimination started on a manufacturing consignment basis.
April, 1993 Capital increased to 10,000,000 yen.
June, 1994 A new office building (present head office) completed in Totsuka-higashi, Kawaguchi City, Saitama.
March, 1995 Capital increased to 20,000,000 yen.
August, 1998 Current R&D center opened in Higashi-ryouke, Kawaguchi City.
Beginning of transformation of business from the trading firm to the manufacturer and successfully started in-house manufacture of the vacuum mold dies, which formed the basis of Iwaki's present operation system. As a manufacturer, Iwaki's present business started at a small inspection room of the present head office (a warehouse then) with only one Mori Seiki machining center.
June, 1999 The present vacuum forming plant established in Ohashi-cho, Sano City, and in-house forming of the products also started.
January, 2000 In-house manufacture of injection molding dies started.
December, 2000 Monthly sales of 150 million yen achieved.
August, 2001 Capital increased to 50,000,000 yen.
April, 2002 Certified to ISO 9001
May, 2002 Capital increased to 100,000,000 yen.
April, 2003 Sano branch office opened in Ohashi-cho, Sano City.
July, 2003 A subsidiary in China established in Dalian Bonded Logistics Park
September, 2005 Certified under ISO 14001
Certified to Ricoh Group's CMS
June, 2007 Participated in various trade shows and exhibitions in full scale
September, 2008 Niigata Sales Office opened.
August, 2010 New office building (Rock'n'roller Building) completed in Kami-aoki-nishi, Kawaguchi City, Saitama.
May, 2011 Nigata Sales Office moved to the Niigata Core Center in Reserch Core Center, Sugoro, Sanjyo City.
